This page is all about Hollywood Undead's history, and not much else.
How did the band get the name Hollywood Undead?
"We were with my neighbor and the first song we actually wrote, we were gonna title 'Hollywood', 'cause it's about, you know, being in Hollywood and the City and whatnot, and we were just fuckin' around like 'Oh, let's call ourselves the Undead', you know, just because there's all these brain-dead people around there, livin' in the city and stuff like that, so then, we were called the Undead and our first song was titled 'Hollywood' and my neighbor and I saw it and we were like 'wow, Hollywood Undead, what a great name', and I was like 'thanks dude', and, you know..."
How did Hollywood Undead come to be?
Hollywood Undead originated in 2005 from a song called "The Kids" which was posted on Hollywood Undead's MySpace page by Jorel Decker and Aron Erlichman, leading to positive reviews and to the creation of Hollywood Undead with their friends Jordon Terrell, George Ragan, Dylan Alvarez, Jeff Philips and Matthew St. Claire.
"Whoever was in the room at the time, and played an instrument was in the band"
At some point, Shady Jeff, or Jeff Philips left the band for reasons unclear, and now works as a mechanic and is working on converting diesel cars into vehicles that can run on vegetable oil.

What Happened To Tha Prodeucer?
In early 2010, Hollywood Undead announced that Tha Prodeucer had left the band due to musical disagreements. Many people started to realize his possible departure when he did not take part in their Vatos Locos tour. After a couple weeks on tour the band asked their long-time friend, Daniel Murillo to fill in for Tha Prodeucer, not long after Murillo advanced past the season 9 auditions for the tv show: American Idol. Daniel Murillo was previously the lead singer for the band "Lorene Drive". Deuce (Tha Prodeucer) released a song titled "Story of a Snitch" in which he claimed to have made Hollywood Undead, that he wrote the songs, and claiming he was kicked out by the band, due to jealousy. Not very many people knew alot about what really happened untill YouTube interviewer Bryan Stars interviewed Hollywood Undead on the Deuce event. Johnny 3 Tears and Da Kurlzz stated that the band had to constantly satisfy Deuce while on tour.
"It was so bad, that I don't think there would've been another record if he was still with us. We bent over backwards to accommodate Deuce"
"It was just that he didn't like being on the road, so we would have to do things to make him happy. He also claimed to be writing all the songs, and all this B.S."
Martini Beerman of rock.com later interviewed the band, herself.
Charlie Scene and J-Dog decided to explain the last events that inevitably led to the split.
"He wanted to have his personal assistant come on the tour. None of us have personal assistants, we're not egomaniacs. We don't need that, and he wanted the band to pay for it and we did for like four months. After that we were like, 'we're not gonna pay $800 a week to have your buddy out on tour'. We went to the airport to fly out for our next tour, and he didn't show up. We were like, what the fuck do we do? We called him and he didn't answer. So for the first 2 weeks of that tour, I sang all his parts."
Deuce released his debut album "Ninelives", working as a solo artist on April 24th 2012 liscenced under "Five Seven Music"
